Hello there, how are you going?
My name is Seana Smith, I’m Scottish-born and bred but now call Sydney, Australia home. I spend most of my time chasing after my four offspring who are between 10 – 19 years old but I LOVE to work too.
I’ve been a TV producer and writer since I left university, working for Channel 9 and the BBC and then writing books, articles and websites.
My main commercial website is called Hello Sydney Kids. If you’re planning a visit to Sydney with children, do pop over there.
Blog For Fun Not Profit is where I answer the question I’m often asked:
How do you set up a blog?
There are a million hard-sell websites about setting up blogs and websites and they are very commercial. I’ve created a little space for people who are after a bit of fun whilst they set up a hobby blog.
I can teach you how to cover costs and make the blog work for you. But this isn’t a money-making website and I won’t try to drag you into a sales funnel by promising the earth.
Blogging can take up a lot of time and effort, people become financially successful through sheer hard yakka. That’s my experience with Hello Sydney Kids.
But loads of people also blog for the sheer fun of it, and also for the terrific connections we can make with each other.
Life’s meant to be a laugh, isn’t it?
If you’re in the 50+ age group like me, you might find yourself with a bit more free time than you used to have. Or you may already have retired.
If you have a bit of time and you like to enjoy yourself, let’s set off on a blogging escapade together!
